I was commissioned by the Utah Jazz to transform a blank wall in downtown Salt Lake City. This mural outside one of my favorite restaurants, Valter’s, was inspired by finding similarities in Utah Jazz basketball and Johannesburg. Exploring the shared energy within the city and the sport, shared artistry within dunks and street art as well as the shared hybridization of nature and a city landscape. The mural sits at 78ft X 30ft – 24m X 9m).
