Design Brief: Design a Poster based on an interesting experience
you’ve had during the summer holidays
During the holidays, I learnt about Adobe Dimensions. My experimentation and exploration of this tool eventually led me to create a poster consisting 3D elements. I modeled ‘OCCUPY’ 3D letters individually and put blobs swallowing the letters. I also added other things that I have been occupying my holiday with like Family, Friends and Work.

Design Poster for ‘Relapse’ and ‘In Limbo’ theater play
My drama club asked me to design posters for their upcoming theater plays.
(Left) ‘Relapse’ is a dark retelling about characters from nursery rhymes trapped in a room with a mysterious game master. I was inspired by the style of old children storybooks for the poster with the hatching shading.
(Right) ‘In Limbo’ is a triple-bill about life, death, and life after death. The play have a variety of characters like Maya Fantasma who is a medium, Felicia the ghost, even Life and Death themselves. There is one scene where Death is in the train with three characters thus the poster is inspired by a subway bench which represents the name of the play ‘In Limbo’ quite well. I asked the cast members to pose as their characters which I took reference from for the illustration.

Interdisciplinary Project | Group work
Design a Poster on BLUE interdisciplinary project, Overlook the blue hour
The Interdisciplinary Project is a one week project where we work with other disciplinary courses in Lasalle. My group found items that many overlook and make them prominent to the eye by painting them blue. My role as the graphic designer in the group was to design a poster of our work. I did two versions, one landscape poster with a nice hero image of the blue things (Left) and a portrait poster with the title logo (Right). The circles are pictures I took on my journey home where I observed blue things I came across and edited out the blue. I incorporated the circle pictures to the type of the word OVERLOOK as part of the title logo. The colour blue we standardized is ultramarine blue.

Design Brief: Design a Poster on assigned product using photography
For my photography module, I was assigned Kleenex Moist Toilet Tissue as my product to sell. After researching, I found out that the product is meant to be used with dry toilet paper thus I thought of designing a poster with DRY and WET as a friendship which equates to maximum cleanliness. I made the arms out of wire and black paper.

Design a Poster for Double Better Lah promo 2018 and CNY promo 2019
I designed two promotion posters that is displayed at all four outlets in Singapore. Double Better Lah poster (Left) design is kept simple and easy to read. CNY promo poster (Right) is eye catching as the red Random Gift Pack is against a white background.

Design a Poster for SL2 booth at DBS Asia X launch
I helped out with Sustainable Living Lab booth at DBS Asia X launch where we show how to use the Pepakura software to convert 3D models into paper templates for prototyping. The concept ‘From pixel to prototype’ was given by my colleague for me to illustrate. I thought of splitting the poster into two where the left half is the pixel, which is the 3D model of a rocket while the right half is the rocket prototype, with the paper templates forming the star constellations. This poster was displayed at the booth table where visitors can make their own prototypes out of the paper templates generated by the Pepakura software.
