AW18 Puma Trailfox
One of the most exciting project that I worked on for AW18.
We met a lot of doubts and obstacles along the way but the team manage to overcome it.
A totally new design, re-proportion the tooling based on an existing one from early 2000 was also a challenge. The team effort made it as if an easy job.
For the upper construction, I made a mock-up from paper to explain the gusset tongue to help development for the first pullover. It was a fun process!
The simple looking design actually has a lot of really interesting design detail.
From the gusset construction for the tongue, a woven label patch detail on the heel to give it more outdoor and trail feeling, also the material usage on the upper, tougher texture on the webbing. Not to mention the additional triangular padding inside the colar, kudos to Oli for that idea!
